Privacy Policy

MO(MEN)TUM is run by Momentum Movement CIC (company no. 17156922, registered in England). We are the data controller for the personal information described here. Questions or requests: hello@mo-men-tum.com.
What we collect
- Email sign-ups. Your email address (and your name if you give it) when you join the mailing list, sign up for an event or for book updates. Some event sign-ups also ask for a phone number.
- Orders. When you buy something, our payment provider Stripe processes your payment. We receive your name, email and delivery address so we can send your order. We never see or store your card details.
- Website use. We use Plausible Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without collecting personal information.
- Messages. Anything you send us by email.
How we use it
- To send you the emails you signed up for, and to tell you about events you registered for.
- To deliver orders and handle returns or questions.
- To answer your messages.
We rely on your consent for emails (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email), and on performing our contract with you for orders. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: stores our database.
- Vercel: hosts this website.
- Stripe: takes payments.
- Resend: sends our emails.
- Plausible: cookie-free visitor counts.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
Our videos and social media
MO(MEN)TUM publishes its own videos to its own accounts on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. When we connect those accounts, we store only the access permissions needed to post our own content to our own accounts. We do not collect information about the people who watch, follow or comment. Each platform's own privacy policy covers how it uses your data.
People who appear in our videos agree to it before anything with them in it is published. If you appear in one of our videos and want it changed or removed, email us and we will act quickly.
How long we keep it
Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Order details are kept for as long as the law requires for accounting, normally six years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, move or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Email hello@mo-men-tum.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
